The Reading List: New Knowledge for a New Year
During this time of the year, we all know what everyone's favorite phrase to say or express their hatred for is: "New year, new me!" I could care less which side of the spectrum you stand on, as long as you include bettering yourself in 2014 on your to-do list. Here are some books I'm looking forward to divulging in or have already gained some precious gems from in the new year.
1.
Man Repeller: Seeking Love, Finding Overalls
Leandra Medine
2.
The Asylum: A collage of couture reminiscences... and hysteria
Simon Doonan
3.
StraightRazor
Lemon Andersen

For all those who have had the chance to have their souls touched via Netflix or Hulu while watching the documentary, "Lemon", you all know how big of a deal it is to hear that Sir Andersen shall be gracing us with another performance of his play, "County of Kings". If you have not had the pleasure of running across Tony Award winner and poet, Lemon Andersen, your chance has arrived. If you're in the NYC metro area that is. Lo siento.
Get more details about the event and get more familiar with Lemon's work after the jump.
